Abstract: In this talk, we give a proof of the long standing Lehmer conjecture that the Ramanujan tau function t(n) is not equal to zero. We use the Unique Factorization Theorem and the matrix attached to prime divisor q (>q) of A(p) where t(p) = A(p)-B(p).
